A seasoned PD with over a decade of experience in TV. Disturbingly comfortable in a stab-vest, swinging from excavators or high-speed chases in the back of police cars. Well adept leading creative teams through tricky projects, sensitive access, on shoe-string budgets and eye-watering schedules.
RECENT CREDITS
A glossy, somewhat dangerous but well-oiled production, working with fastjet pilots in the RAF. This required strict adherence to security protocols and even stricter care handling contributors who take themselves very, very seriously.
Think of your worst budget. Now halve it. Now think of your most gruelling schedule… and slash it in pieces. Now you’re with me - begging, borrowing and stealing your way into making a half decent true crime series.
Worked across multiple episodes on the C5 stalwart, frantically trying to keep the format fresh; contributors on side and Ben Frow perpetually appeased.
My third Yukon tour with RAW TV. This involves managing dozens of Marshall cams and GoPros; cross shooting on FX9, and flying drones. All this while dodging angry miners and grizzly bears, largely interchangeably.
I mobilised, leading a team of creatives and soldiers, producing social media content for the UK MOD. An intensely demanding, highly charged, military context delivering seismic effects through targeted campaigns.
Secured sensitive eyewitness access, shot across the Mediterranean on a budget that was more ‘sinking’ than ‘superyacht’. Still delivered a topical, fast-turnaround with genuine revelation, topped with some cracking visuals.
Harsh conditions; bizarre characters; enforced karaoke diplomacy and contributor management with beer in saunas.
Shot and arranged emotive moments to fulfil key format points, handling sensitive, often cantankerous contributors.
The first foray into the Yukon, living and working with a close knit team. The absolute dream job! Bears included.
Obs-doc as part of a small crew, embedded inside the Army’s infamous “glasshouse” prison. Required careful handling of hostile contributors in a space where violence is a perfectly palatable currency.
Produced and directed a ten-part true crime series. Balanced legal tightropes, frantic turnaround and zero budget. Feasible only with medically inadvisable quantities of caffeine and actual shoe strings.
A year-long contract, securing access and shooting with elite military regiments worldwide. Involved cross-shooting, live logging and managing contributors who eat TV crews for breakfast.
Initially hired to shoot and direct several short drama reconstruction films. Similarly to Crimewatch, the role required zero-budget drama reconstruction shot to stringent timeframes within strict legal parameters.

Formal Shooting and Directing FX9 training with ScreenSkills and the NFTS, including lighting, lenses and synchronised workflows.
Fully qualified for UK / EU / Canada operations.
Hostile Environment & First Aid accreditation from HET to the highest level.
ACA professional practice certification using Adobe Creative Suite.
French B2 and Spanish B1 certificates from King’s College London.
Full, clean UK driving licence and Pass Plus Certificate; van owner.

ARMY RESERVE
I am proud to serve as a Captain in the Army Reserve. I work in a niche unit, revolving around influence and behavioural change, utilising leadership and core creative skills attained through working in production, applied to campaigns with key outputs on the global stage.
This also forces me to maintain appropriate fitness levels; keep up-to-date first aid training; and maintain a number of other useful attributes. This commitment suits freelance life, so between contracts I regularly end up producing content, leading creative teams to achieve specific tasks.
